German speaking Customer Support Specialist

Málaga, Spain
Full Time

About the role

About the role

We are looking for German-speaking Customer Support Specialists to join our client's operations in Málaga Centro. The role is permanent, office-based and starts 16 November or at the beginning of December.

You will be the friendly, reliable voice for German-speaking parents using an international tech brand that makes smart devices designed to keep children connected and safe.

Relocating to Spain is welcome, and we will support you with the NIE number and the first admin steps if you are an EU citizen.

What you'll do

  • Provide frontline support to customers in the German market by phone, chat and email
  • Help parents with device setup, activation, app questions, subscriptions and troubleshooting
  • Explain technical topics in simple, clear and friendly language
  • Log, track and follow up on cases so every customer gets a proper resolution
  • Work with internal teams to solve more complex issues
  • Keep customer satisfaction high, including during busy periods

Requirements

  • Native or fluent German (C1 or higher), written and spoken
  • Good English
  • Comfortable with computers and apps, and quick to learn new systems
  • Calm, patient and empathetic, also when a customer is stressed or frustrated
  • Self-driven and confident handling customer communication
  • Customer service experience is a plus, but attitude and communication skills matter most
  • Legally able to work in Spain, and available to start 16 November or early December

Working hours & environment

  • Office in Málaga Centro
  • Monday to Friday, office hours, with an occasional weekend shift
  • Full-time permanent Spanish contract (contrato indefinido), 39 hours per week
  • Salary: 1,800 EUR gross per month, increasing to 1,900 EUR after 6 months and 2,000 EUR after 12 months
  • Support channels: phone, email and chat
  • Structured training and onboarding
  • No relocation package, but help with the NIE number and settling-in paperwork for EU citizens

Why this role is exciting

  • A permanent contract with a guaranteed salary increase at 6 and 12 months
  • A multilingual, international team with a supportive, no-ego culture
  • Clear development paths and mentorship if you want to grow beyond your first role
  • Work for a product people care about, helping parents feel secure about their kids
  • Life in Málaga: around 300 days of sunshine a year, city beaches after work, an old town full of tapas bars and terraces, and an international airport. It is safe, walkable and has a large international community, so you will not be starting from scratch.
